Breast Implants

Breast Implant Surgery is designed to increase the size and fullness of your breasts.  Through the use of silicone and saline filled implants, natural looking, larger breasts can be achieved.  The implants most appropriate for you will be determined based on your desired results, and the input of Dr. Avram.  The incisions that will be used in your procedure will vary depending on a number of factors.  You should discuss this in detail with Dr. Avram.

Breast Lift Surgery

A breast lift is a cosmetic procedure that is intended to eliminate the effects of sagging caused by breast feeding, pregnancy and aging.  The procedure aims to lift and reshape sagging breasts. Incisions used will vary depending on your desired outcome, and Dr. Avram’s assessment.  They may include a circular incision around your nipple to elevate it’s positioning on your breast.  It may also include an incision downward from the bottom of your nipple to the fold under your breast.  Skin and breast tissue may be removed to smooth and tighten the appearance of your breasts.  You can expect to discuss these techniques with Dr. Avram, and have any questions you may have answered.

Breast Augmentation – Natural Fat Transfer Process

This process collects fat from other areas of your body with liposuction.  Depending on your body, fat may be collected from your thighs, buttocks, or tummy.  The areas that are most suitable for collecting fat by liposuction will be determined by Dr. Avram.  This will be part of your discussion during your initial consultation.  Once your fat is collected, it will be purified then injected into your breasts. Needles are used for the injection process – incisions and cuts are not required for this type of breast augmentation process.  It is a minimally invasive procedure.

Tummy Tuck Surgery

Abdominoplasty is performed to improve the appearance of your tummy and mid-section.  The incision that is most commonly used is one that starts at your pubic hairline, and moves toward each hip.  The tightening and repositioning of the abdominal muscles is the first step to providing a smooth and contoured mid-section.  Excess skin, fat and stretch marks are then removed. Often, liposuction is then used to provide the final touches to the appearance of your tummy.

Combining Procedures

It may be advantageous for you to undergo more than one procedure at the same time.  For example, a tummy tuck can be completed at the same time as a breast augmentation.  This provides the opportunity for a single recovery period, and there can be some financial advantages as well.  Please discuss this with Dr. Avram at your initial consultation.
